The Rotary Club of Jacksonville is now conducting its second annual Spring Tree and Shrub Sale. Rotary President Kelly Pool said, “This is the second year for this event. Our Rotary Green Committee received a very positive response to the tree sale last year. We have also responded to requests to offer flowering shrubs as well as trees. We want to encourage everyone to place their orders early, as our most popular offerings sold out last year!”
Ten types of trees and shrubs are being offered. Trees are: American Chestnut, Redbud, Persimmon, Star Magnolia, Jane Magnolia, and White Flowering Dogwood. Shrubs are: Beauty Berry, York Elderberry, Black Currant, and Oakleaf Hydrangea.
All trees and shrubs are $40 and come in a 3-gallon pot. Orders AND payments must be received by April 26. Online pre-order and pre-payment is preferred at https://form.jotform.com/jvillerotary/2026treeshrub.
Trees and shrubs MUST be picked up on May 9 from 9 AM to noon at Nichols Park (look for signage).
Donors can also contribute the cost of a tree or trees to the Rotary Green project to help the club plant trees throughout the Jacksonville community.
