4th of July Parade postponed to Sept 5, 2020

The Jacksonville Rotary Club is now accepting entries for its annual 4th of July Parade, which will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2020, postponed due to the COVID-19 shutdown. The theme of this year’s parade is “Hometown Heroes.” According to Jacksonville Rotary Club parade chairwoman Cathy Jo Littleton-Wahl, parade entry forms must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020.

Wahl said, “The Rotary Club of Jacksonville invites everyone to join in this fun event, which celebrates the everyday heroes who are among us every day and serve our community. Please bring your version of ‘heroes’ to take part in our parade. You can walk as a group, ride in a vehicle or on a float, or ride bicycles or horses! Get your family and friends together and please join us!”
