Club attains 100% Paul Harris status

The Jacksonville Rotary Club celebrated an important milestone that few Rotary Clubs are able to achieve. We became a 100% Paul Harris Club. That means that at least $1,000 has been donated to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International in honor of each of our members. We have more than 100 members; more than $100,000 has been donated for the charitable purposes of Rotary International by our members. Past District Governor Keith Lape and Phyllis Lape, Foundation chairs Karen Walker and Daphne Spradlin, and President Brittany Henry and her board did a great job of planning this program. We were so honored to have as our guests Jacksonville Mayor Andy Ezard, Rotary District 6460 Governor Mark Roberts, Past District Governors Dave Knieriem (and his wife Bonnie) and David Parsons, District Governor-elect Maura Donnelly, District Governor-nominee Ryan Byers, and Emy Osburn, wife of Past District Governor Fred Osburn. Today District Governor Mark awarded 24 Paul Harris Fellow Awards to our honored members, and congratulated our club for reaching this incredible milestone. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International to make help us reach this goal!
